Ajit Nair is the Senior Director of EMC’s Global Services organization for South East Asia responsible for helping organizations improve their information infrastructure needs, increase cost efficiencies, reduce risks and leverage new technologies to enhance their own business operations.
With more than 25 years of IT experience in managed and consultancy services – 10 of which are spent at EMC – Ajit is also driving the delivery of converged as well as private and hybrid cloud infrastructures to EMC’s customers with the best and broadest range of service offerings in the industry.
Prior to his current role, Ajit was the worldwide Senior Director of Global Residency and Remote Managed Services responsible for driving sales and influencing technology sell-through to achieve profitability for his division. In this position, Ajit spearheaded the completion of EMC’s largest multi-million dollar off-shore residency deal.
Ajit began his career at Singapore Technologies Electrical & Engineering Pte Ltd as a Systems Engineer and progressed on to become a Business Development Manager at Novell Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.
Ajit holds a Master of Science in Electronics and System Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Electronics and Communications from the University of Essex.
